Harlyn felt guilty when she saw her son's reaction. She clearly had frightened him, but he settled quickly enough when Larkspur called out to him. She smiled at them as they greeted each other and let herself fade into the background a bit. She stepped towards the stream herself and took a few gulps of water before straightening and setting her gaze to the woods. The alpha had settled from her previous tension at Silas's surprise attack, but he had reminded her to take precaution of their surroundings. The Hollow was not the safe place it had once been, and Harlyn found herself having a difficult time accepting that truth.
