With the intruder dealt with there was no reason for Lazarus to linger. He turned swiftly from the pair of them (though his attention remained focused on Amekaze even as he stumbled up the mountainside), and before long he was a grayed silhouette among the shadows. Perhaps he would watch this newcomer and bare witness to his follies, perhaps drive him out in secret? But he had yet to raise the burly  man's rage, and did not seem interested in contesting whatever mental claim he held over the Alpha woman; so for now he would just watch and wait, lurking upon and guarding the mountain.
