The female chuffed out a greeting, Slancio grinned slightly when she did not act hostile to him.

"Good afternoon indeed. It would be a better afternoon if I could find something to eat, but it could be worse," Slancio spoke when he was close to the other wolf. A slight cringe came to him when he accidentally step on a dead locust, flinging his paw around to get it off.
