Her mint eyes glinted fiercely, her figure coiling as she allowed him reign to remove himself from the situation. With her muzzle thrust downward, and her lips writhing in a snarl, she waited for his move, eager to block him from reaching either Saena or the puppies should he feel the desire to try.

Displaced and chaotic, the nomadic wolves had little time for such mistakes. She had no idea who the boy was, or his ties to the pack he had unfortunately stumbled upon. All she knew was they had three very tired and vulnerable pups, and he had come much too close to them.
