Laika rolled a 2. Another success!!

Laika frowned as her friend's fish got away. She tried to figure out what could have gone wrong but she couldn't figure it out. Mostly, it just had to do with luck. Laika had failed many times herself. "Almost there!" She commented, hoping it made her feel at east a little bit better. If Laika caught a next fish, it would go to Shreya. If she caught a third, she would eat it -- sharing with Spring of course. The silver she-wolf padded around the pool a couple times, trying to find where the fish were hiding out now. She was beginning to get the hang of fishing, but she was still a beginner. 

She finally found a cluster of trout hanging out by one edge. They weren't as large as the first one she caught, in fact they were quite skinny compared to the other one, but it was still better than nothing. Laika crouched at the end of the water, watching as the water reached for the shore in tiny little ripples for just a moment before concentrating on her prey. She focused in on one, silently slipping into the water and lowering her head. The fish moved off a little ways, but once Laika was still for a while, they came wandering back. She turned into a white blur as she pounced, pinning the fish the the bottom of the shallows. It was writhing in vain, and slowly making it's way out of her grip. She had to act now! At just the right moment, Laika plunged her head in and snapped it's spine with her jaws. The taste of blood made her mouth water and her stomach screamed for food. Laika closed her eyes and forced the dire need for food down. She needed to feed others first.
