Jace heard a hoarse bark and then a sound of pain followed by muffled voices. He tilted his head trying to catch the should. It was late by rights he should have been asleep but he hadn't been able to sleep.

With a loping grace the wraith like shadow followed the direction he thought the noises had come. Dark deep feral growls and snarls came into his chest as he went for the nearest wolf. He didn't care that there was 4 of them and 1 of him all he cared about was that a pack mate was in danger and he was the only one around.

He grabbed at the nearest wolf and biting down hard at shoulder or back wherever he could reach he attempted to throw them away from bones as he could now see it was bones and the accents that followed the others were hers..
