Shadewood i enjoy pretty, dark-haired women and breakfast food.

It was the young wolf's second time visiting these woods -- or Shadewood as her and Spring enjoyed to call it -- since the pack took refuge by the creek. From the start, this barren, lifeless forest called to her. Her piercing blue eyes raked along her suroundings, bouncing off every tree and rock in sight. A flicker of movement caught her eye and her hackles raised in suspicion. Not many wolves where in these parts now that the damned locuts had come through. And of course, there was literally no prey... so what was it? Laika decided to take her chances and started padding briskly over towards where the motion had been. Maybe it wasn't anything, but she just had to see and make sure.

With her head down the silver female with her ruffled fur a skinny frame moved through the thickets of trunks and leafless bushes that popped up here and there. Undergrowth was not all that common down here because it seemed that the sun could hardly reach it's rays though the thick canopy of leaves that was once shimmered atop the trees. Even without them, the branches were entangled together in a strange type of beauty. 

Laika continued on until a figure came into view. It was in fact was wolf, and Laika was slightly surprised. The tree trunks provided no suitable hiding spots so she didn't hide. Perhaps she should talk to this wolf, find out what their business being here was, but then again, this was neutral land. She always had the strange sensation to protect this forest, and Laika was never so sure where or why this feeling presented itself. She continued to grow closer to the stranger, but remained a good few yards away.
