Even if she had no experience whatsoever, she was a caring wolf, especially for young. At least, she hoped so. she knew little about squirming balls of fur, but truly, how difficult could it be? Even her own mother had raised her to be a well-spoken, well, murderer, and if the wreck that was her mother could do it, she could do it better. She would do it better. The kids she was carrying were going to be normal, and nothing would even happen to them. She would protect them, she swore.

She didn't know how, but the past was so dull that it didn't touch her anymore. The only thing that she did still carry around was the crying face of Lucifer, her mother's dead body and the disappointing stare of Avalon. Yet, if asked, she would tell, but she had listened to every word Burke had ever said, and could easily recall him saying that there was no use in dwelling on the past.
