Surely Burke remembered that Nemesis and her had had a hostile meeting all the way back in winter. Then again, it wasn't hard to assume Nemesis had that with everyone. Malice doubted she had any real friends, and because of that acted so rude, though what did she know? Her face flushed a bright red under her tan and black fur at Burke's words. She didn't know why.
