King Elk Forest tiny cities

It was an unusually hot day for spring, one that sent Althaia searching for shade. After sating her thirst at the riverbank, Althaia dove into the cool waters, soaking herself and halfheartedly snapping at a few fish. Her previous attempts to hunt to scaled creatures had ended poorly, and she was in no hurry to try again. 

She wade back to the riverbank, shook herself dry and searched for a place to rest. As she loped by the river, a copper coloured shape drew her eye. Slowing, she approached amiably, pale green eyes sparkling. She dipped her head in greeting a few meters away, allowing the other to speak first.
