The story didn't make any sense.  How could wolves go up that high?  She had tried it with Uncle Steady just last night and had ended up falling backwards and almost hurting herself.  Wolves could not fly so high.  Even Odie knew that.  Yet the small Odette was just too nervous to point that fact out.  After all she didn't want to upset this female at all for not approving of her story.  Although Odette began to wonder if this wolf truely thought this?  If so Odette hoped that she would one day learn the truth so that she would not have to live in a world of lies.

Odette finally paused in her sniffling and took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself down.  Although she didn't think the story was true, she still had questions about it.  Such as why this North Star dude even needed her Father, since he appearantly had other friends up with her now.  In fact this North Star was greedy!  A bully!  Odette sniffled once again.  What if she became lonely though?  Did her Father not care about her?  Why should he though anyways?  It's not like he even knew a single thing about her.  She had no strong determined memories of seeing him after all.  In fact she didn't even know what he looked like.  Suddenly a new thought came ot Odette's mind.  Was it her fault that her Father left?  The thought left her stunned for a few moments and it showed in her expression.  Why else would this Father leave that would actually make sense.  It had to be her fault.  Guilt pushed it's way into Odette's heart.

Odette asked no question though.  She kinda wanted to, but she didn't know what to say to the point where she would even want to hear the answer.  So no questions or comments were made by Odie.  So instead she just looked down silently at her paws not sure what to think, accept that it must have been her fault that her Father was gone from her life.  So Odette turned around and began to walk away. Back towards the den.  There she would hopefully get some time to think for herself about this whole crazy situation.  Alone.  A small sob racked Odette body, but then she walked into the den and was gone.
Last post from me I think.  Thanks for the thread!
