Steady had felt like a turd for the way he was behaving towards Phocion. He should have handled the competition much better than he had. Finally coming to his senses, Steady lifted his muzzle and howled for Phocion.
He was hopeful they could mend fences. Phocion didn't seem like the type to hold a grudge, but Steady didn't really know. The Beta could only apologize and hope for the best.
