Taking a break from hunting, Niita patrolled the border. At first it had been done with vigilance, her eyes scanning the surrounding area in the case of intruders. After awhile it began to be monotonous. The same barren trees, the same mostly dirt ground with the odd returning plant life, and the same blue sky. 

Finding herself lost in her own thoughts, Niita nearly didn't notice as she neared the tree, almost wacking her head into it painfully. Snapping out of her mindless reverie, the Anreis shook her head and continued on with the task.
