Gia had explored every inch of this temporary home and found it less than meeting her standards, and had been planning to meet her mate to talk about moving. The don had been scarce lately, and it was starting to get on her nerves. Why was he being distant from his family in their time of need?
SHE would have to take charge if he couldn't handle that, if he abandoned them. Would Giancarlo really do such a thing?
A weak howl drew her attention, and there was no doubt in her mind that it was her more spoiled daughter, Romilda. Paws pounding against the earth, the ivory woman galloped towards the thick scent of her brown daughter.
