The image curled the dark leather of his lips upwards slightly and his canary-colored gaze darted along the features of her face. She did not possess fear, but he was not surprised by this. While Glu was a precocious fighter, he did not appear frightening in his physique. He was slender, long-legged, and somewhat awkward; the length of his ears and the narrowness of his muzzle boasted proudly of his mixed heritage.
 
Breathing a short breath, the coywolf blinked once at the female and offered her a peculiar and pointed grin. In a manner of speaking, this emerald-eyed woman was built larger than he, and he did not doubt that she knew well how to utilize her body. Without much of a warning, Glu began to roam her figure with his gaze, noting the strongest points of muscle underneath her coat. “You have only just arrived?” he inquired with a quirked brow. It was a curious manner of wording the question. The cadaverous witch doctor had only drawn this conclusion from the shape of her body. Had she been in the Teekon Wilds for much longer, surely she would have shown some jutting bones.
