Wrapping this up!

The bickering didn't escalate any further, thankfully. It seemed the family were all too weary from their travels to do so. His mother didn't spur Cyril on, instead responding to his taunt with only a smile, and Remmy huddled closer to her. At her nudge and quiet words, he folded his paws beneath him with a huff, knowing she didn't like him chewing his toes so much but unable to help himself.

When Carlotta curled up beside them, Remmy settled somewhat, letting his head droop over Cecilia's forelegs with a soft sigh. The Don reassured him, despite Primo's agitated retort. Without moving his head, he glanced up at the towering mountain, unsure of it. He wouldn't be climbing it by himself, that was for sure.

Slowly, Remmy allowed his eyes to droop, lulled to sleep by his mother's heartbeat he could make out with his ear nestled close to her chest and the warmth of his dozing cousin pressed against his side. He didn't share her same certainty, though knew that as long as they were together, everything would work out.
