Niita glanced down at her paw, somehow angry with that part of her anatomy for not working properly. "I went looking for the pups on the glacier. I slipped and fell down the side." Niita tried to explain, feeling stupid for falling in the first place.

"I haven't found any sign of them." Niita frowned, wondering when her foot would heal so she could make a second expedition to search for them.
Her heart was a secret garden and the walls were very high -- except for the one who held the keys to the gate.
