Niita smiled, leaning into his touch with joy now that things seemed to be back to normal. "He. Kainan was male." Niita corrected softly, wondering if that would upset him. Steady wasn't particularly volatile but he was territorial. 

"I know you wouldn't. I trust you. It doesn't scare me when you touch my neck, you've done it before." Niita assured, moving to rub her head against his chest.
Her heart was a secret garden and the walls were very high -- except for the one who held the keys to the gate.
