However, as soon as he'd acertained that this wolf was not, in fact, his dasterly half-sister, the words began to register.

Except recruiting his own pack now seemed like an awful lot of fun, even if he didn't particularly want to lead one.

Marbas turned and trotted away, deciding that - if he needed to find some - there was a gathering of spineless wolves at Redtail Rise, just waiting for any charlatan to take them in.
