her mother had made it no secret her disdain for males, but eshamun did not follow in the same vein. men were useful. how else would children be created for service to the watchful one? she lifted herself up to shake the dust from her pelt and move back toward the man; he had been given his rest, but the woman wished to hear his reply before she sought his embrace again.
