The youngster in question was in the process of hunting a rather interesting beetle. He crept long the forest floor in a ratther interesting stalk, tiny blue eyes straight on the glistening thing in front of him. With a growl, he sprung, trapping the beetle under his claws and rendering it still. Seff removed one of his raws and glanced at the thing, looking concerned. Should he eat it? That seemed like the right thing to do. But nefore the child could eat the potentialy hazardous beetle, a scent reached him...that of his mother.

He spun on his heel, lopping ungainly toward his mother. His mama. And so, as he approached her with a smile on his lips, the first true words he had spoken fell from his lips. "Mama! Play?"
