It did not surprise her that Hiram's old friend was against them; he had not been given access to the cavern as he was not an ally to the Larksong wolves, and it was known now. Yet he protested. He spoke as if his word was law, attempting to steal away the tainted souls of the wolves which did not wish to linger among them.
