There came first a question, and gradually had an answer started to form within her mind. No sooner had the query settled within the air had the male taken off, leaving the woman momentarily stunned. Quickly had her shock morphed into anger, however, and immediately had she looked to Sadie. "Follow him," the snake commanded. "Tear into him if you can, but otherwise just make sure he goes far away from this place." Never to be seen again, she hoped. Passed the borders and far beyond them, in a direction that she might never venture. For if ever were Sen to see the man again, her disinterest in fighting would be set aside, and upon his flesh would her teeth descend. For the time being, though, she left that up to Sadie. Not long after had she left the scene, retreating to her den so that over her daughter she could watch.
