Aine chuckled. Her tone was deep and throaty.
"Stal-ag-mites an' stal-act-tights., Mi'friend, are formations in a cave. Stalactites are like icicles made of rock, and Stalagmites are also like icicles of rock, but are on the floor pointed upwards. Ye get wha' I'm sayin'?"
He looked at him. She didn't want to go through the whole idea of how they were made, but she didn't want to look like a lunatic in front of him, either.
