The Sentinels tell me we'll be okay

Osprey felt glad that her suggestion was received with excitement and it was good to see Sarah open up a little. Though she was still very young and small and had seen little of the world around her, her shyness around other people was more pronounced than it was in Terance and Wraen - the first ploughing through the world bravely and the second simply loving everyone she met along the way. There was a room to grow, yet... what if this got worse over time?

Anyway - she kept three steps ahead of Sarah and Charon - being just near enough for the comfort, but otherwise pushing her daughter to deal with the situation on her own.
