Nab did not offer any words in parting. She simply turned and beat a hasty retreat, one ear quirked in the young wolf's direction. She'd never even learned the girl's name, but already, the old moose felt a deep fear of her. There was something very wrong with that child, and if she never saw the girl agian - it would still be too soon.
