She'd been following the coast back home, too confused to know to do anything else. Donnelaith, of course, laid between her and the bay. If she just followed the border and kept Donnelaith always to her left, she'd be home in no time. How could she fail?

But, looking into the forested land to her right... she couldn't. It was bad enough being away from the bay and from... from... from someone, but not being able to see the ocean at all? Too different. I'll forget. I'll get lost. Even if it should be impossible, I know I can't take any chances.
