*Facepalm* I totally meant Fawns. I was clearly not awake when I wrote this :P

Brechin looked up surprised, unsure if she found him having a harem barbaric or if the wolves had separated him. He decided to just go with it. "I never really met a moose, I saw them a few times but never talked to one," he admitted. "I think some of them survived. I had a good harem. They were all very loyal to me. I'm sad I lost them."

Brechin listened with interest. He always came to see the fawns but raising them was the mother's job. He would give them protection. "A very understanding observation, Jenabbi. Maybe that is what the female deer think too and they have stayed in the location we fled too," he spoke thoughtfully. "One of my does lost a calf once. It was very upsetting to see," he spoke. "If you have the choice to have a little one then I'd say go by your instincts. Maybe you do meet a strong partner though that might change your mind?

Brechin still found it weird that these animals lived alone. "I couldn't live alone, hence why I am seeking out your company right now."
