For @Ezekiel!
These fields were certainly a curiosity. They seemed a split personality, being muddy and barren on one side, full of life and vibrant on the other. The sun was high in the sky when she had first discovered the area, now it was on a steep slid into the horizon. It had not yet begun the light show that was sunset, but evening was certainly underway. With a sigh, the wraith plopped down into a soft bed of fragrant wildflowers, settling back on her haunches and gazing thoughtfully at the vibrant field before her, paying little attention to that behind her. She felt at ease, though slightly wary at being so far from home.
Hmm. That was certainly a new feeling. Home. But Aeronwyn had dedicated so much to the founding of Arthendal, been through much with Malice and Burke, and had come out of it all...different. The changes were easy to see, know, the hotheadedness and volatile attitude replaced by a more matured individual. Not to say she was a completely new person, no, but...better. She felt little regret for her past actions, though was unlikely to do the same in the future.
