deirdre smiled at the young terance, and her eyes panned to the adult present. she knew there was a small source of water nearby that would not threaten his life. given consent by the present figure present, deirdre led the young terance toward the small stream right alongside his home. the rocks slid over small pebbles and stones at a slow, leisurely pace and the water was none too deep. deirdre gestured toward the gentle water-source, and moved to take a little drink herself.
