Ezekiel hated to see how his words brought down the mood. Valette's soft hum ceased and a rant began, she was clearly very angry. But if Valette thought he could do it, maybe he really could. It was then he decided that if Steady asked him to rise up, he would oblige. I'd like to be beta, but in sure there are others who are just as qualified. At least you can keep your promises. He tried his best with them, and he was a wolf of his word.
