Castiel said, not breaking his lithium gaze from the female even as Aria approached. The male shifted his weight the slightest bit against her to return her greeting, otherwise he was still looking at the loner. 

He was unimpressed with her story, wondering if charity was the theme of the pack or if the woman was so entitled. "You were clearly bested - even as a warrior." Castiel was blunt and to the point, he did not bother sugar coating things. He wouldn't, either, he'd never learned the finesse. Poughkeepsie wolves rarely worried with such things, it wasn't worth the time. The beast fell silent, waiting for his Alpha to decide the fate of the stranger or their course of action.
