"Are you not scrutinizing me?" She thought it was common - that you judged everyone and evaluated them when you met them. What other way was there to figure out who was safe and who wasn't? 

Isley glanced over her shoulder for a moment, eyes meeting the sunset hue of his gaze before turning her attention to the plants again. She didn't think that he was going to do anything to her, but, still it would do her good to keep her vigilance. Her ears were turned towards him, fixated just in case he did start to move.
