Rather than put a lot of pressure at once, Cicero noticed that Kendra seemed to be biting it like a dog with a bone. He however merely observed, waiting until Kendra would figure it out. She did, in a way, creating a different method to break the bone eventually. Cicero nodded and watched, his face showing no emotion — his feelings still, even on the inside — as the bone broke with a crack. He nodded again and said, "A lot of impact at once works well. Another good thing if one were trying to keep a prisoner, is that the wolf can no longer flee as easily." A wolf could walk on three legs, run even, but not when they were first harmed, in Cicero's experience. It took time to adapt to such changes.

He looked at the victim, who still seemed out of it, then at Kendra again. "If more cuts are made, it is important to keep them shallow. Also, the face can take a lot of damage and its capability to heal itself is amazing." So for the sake of practise, faces were pretty good to practise on. Some scars would be left behind, but unless one went specifically for the eye or such, no permanent damage would be done.
