The Atoll's eyes were narrowed as she watched the rangy male bound away. Her discomfort had only grown since her first interactions with him, and she worried after the consequences of such fickle nobility in their ranks. Perhaps she'd been wrong to lead him on, but the smaller woman knew of no other way to have power over one larger than herself. Sometimes, she doubted she was fit for the rank that she held, but those thoughts were always quickly quashed.

I am Atoll. Skellige has made it so. Let them challenge me.

Bold thoughts, for one so small - but as far as she knew, she had always been this way.
