He turned back to face Valette, paw still swirling circles in the water. He was about to ask if she wanted to swim, when he saw her troubled expression. He followed her gaze to a forest in the distance, very dark and big. He remembered what she'd told him about her brother and father, and wondered if that could be the forest. That where your dad lives? He asked quietly, walking to stand by her side comfortingly.
