Mordecai didn't think there had ever been a time when he had decided on something. He had simply known. But that didn't seem all true, or easy to explain.

"It was always something I was good at," he said after a couple of moments. "I guess it helps that it's a useful skill to invest in too. Everyone benefits from it at the most, and yourself at the least." While all wolves could hunt to some extent, there was something valueable in being able to hold an edge to it.
