They could use a good Hunter for the pack - someone who might one day be their Dapifer - or a Historian to fill Bard, but anything she wanted to be was good enough for Alder. Any contribution was a good one. Her question brought his head shaking- 

                          "No - the specialty ranks are only for those in the Inner Circle. The King, Queen, Duke, and Duchess hold only those ranks." 

Pausing momentarily to leave a mark, the ruler nods for her to mark it too - the female's scent would become a part of the woods like everyone elses had.
