As the moment stretched from inquisitive to intimate, Ragna began to grow uncomfortable. When Giana began to ask her whys, Ragna slipped away entirely. She did not need to hear of the woman's private suffering. There was a degree of trust required to speak of hardships and suffering, and Ragna did not want that trust yet. With a polite nod to each woman, the shieldmaiden padded quietly away, disappearing into the underbrush.
