Eden's ears perked and she stood alert amongst the trees. It was her alpha, Alder, and he sounded troubled. At that point, there was no real question of what was happening. She looked around for her sister, Alyssum - the one who had the real experience with rearing pups - but when she couldn't spot her, she knew she would have to go alone.
