The Sentinels time and time again

Since the news of her brother's and Aria's impending departure, Eilidh had, well, kept mostly to herself. Today found her wandering through the underbrush of the giant sentinels, weaving her cream-and-gold figure through the mist that still clung to the bottoms of the trees. Around another bend she went, and ahead of her she saw a dark figure. She began to speak her brother's name, but upon closer inspection, saw that it wasn't her brother at all.

Instead, she took a few steps toward him, and asked, What are you doing? Her voice was soft, quiet, and yet her emerald eyes held a hint of a sparkle within.
