Just as it was expected for her to brag about her kids, it was expected that she would be protective of them. Charon certainly had been. Hell, he had barely let Aesop join for fear of exposing his kids to some danger. Nevermind that the potential danger was him. Aesop knew he was safe to be around, but Amekaze and Charon couldn't.
