He was concerned of why she whimpered, but shortly after realized that she was deeply in love with him, and so it probably pained her to let him go. It felt the same for him, but after the whole thing with Vector he hid his emotions much better. The slightest drop of conflict in his system could turn him into a raging monster again, and that was not something he found very pleasant. I know... He let out with a sigh, not pleased with going to bed early. The next words pleased him way more, and his face lit up. Never had he slept next to a woman, and with Avannon it was something even more special.
