AW to anybody who realistically would be allowed in the den!

 


The warmth from the early morning light reached into the den, stirring Mato from his first full night of sleep. Reaching his dark forelimbs forward, the eldest child took in the warmth that dappled his forelimbs with a smile. Every day seemed to include a new discovery for the child and today’s discovery seeme to be the early morning light.

After soaking it all in for a few short moments, longer that his attention span had ever previously managed to grasp, before rolling onto his pudgy tummy. Once on his belly, Mato scooted himself forward so that his entire body could be bathed in the sunlight. Once he felt the sunlight cover him completely, Mato settled down with a smile, enjoying the warmth that this particular spot in the den offered.
