Despite only having half of her vision, Grace didn't miss the look of reminiscence that overcame her new friend before he spoke again - she believed each and every word he said without question, trusted that he did feel honored and sorry. Her smile widened, and the heat of a blush spread over her skin - she hadn't ever regularly known praise, and each time it was given felt like a new wave of hope that she was doing the right thing.

Her wink seemed to have surprised him, and to be honest it sort of surprised her too, but in the end he seemed okay with it, happy, accepting her offer of company and affection.
