It did seem odd that a wolf would be a member of a mountain-dwelling pack without ever scaling its slopes; but that wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing. Floki still wasn't sure what Charon would think of Alastor's friend, but as Beta, he saw no reason to turn him away.
