the boy learned much more in his silent and observant ways then his parents could ever know, and his vocabulary was extensive, his understanding great. he followed the other's words with ease, though the meaning of some phrases escaped him, he understood that this was naught but banter. nothing distinctly useful upon which to base a judgement. still he said nothing, focused soley on the other as his mind whirled. a name was given, Vex, and his attention turned to his mother, wereas his gaze did not, awaiting the words she would surely say in return.
