Golden Glade You Make Me (5/5)

The cries of the woman might've been satisfactory, especially as she tried pathetically to defend her fat self and hid behind her mate, but it was the deep snarl of the beast brought that flutter in her chest she loved so much - the adrenaline, the uncertainty. 

Bullet darted underneath the male effortlessly, rejoicing in the uproar she'd caused and ready to take off again.

This time, however, she wasn't as fast as she should have been: Streiter whipped around and snapped his jaws at her, and when that flutter turned into fear, this game was no longer fun. Fangs scraped across her leg, searing right over the one her mother bestowed and ripping apart the skin. There was no hold, no grip, and the fire-pelted creature snarled as she darted away, but the damage was done. Crimson darkened her leg, dripping and staining the earth, and Mayhem didn't look back as she hared away. Her leg burned, and she winced, but now was clearly not the time to check on it.
