She was completely and utterly bored.

There was not much for a girl her age to do, after all. Other than "frolic" or play with random, dangerous objects, of course, as was expected of her. She had tried that; they quickly disinterested her. She had caught glimpses of Zennyo after their initial meeting, but she was unable to summon him for long. She had nothing else to do.

Or, at least, that's what she thought until she saw the broken bird. She didn't know the species, but it's helplessness attracted her. She approached it cautiously, her attention firmly on the squawking bird as she leapt forward, grabbing its wing and pulling.
