When Freyja begins to lay out the plan, he can’t help the pride that spreads across his feature. His daughter learns well and when he casts a glance toward Wildfire, he forgets—for the moment—all the struggle of acceptance. For now, he can set it aside, and as he turns back to Freyja as she continues, he nods his head when he is called and given a job. Once she falls silent, Gavriel becomes a follower as he had been before, and moves with the two once they are given the go ahead.
